MEET THE CRAFTY STEM

Hello there! 

 First, I want to welcome you and thank you for stopping by! 

Let me introduce myself, my name is Patricia most people know me as "Patty/Patty the plant lady ", was I always a plant lady ? NO! I actually didn’t know I had a thing for plants until I attempted to rescue one.

The Crafty Stem journey started in 2019. I’ll be honest it never crossed my mind to own a plant business, let alone make my own products.

Well let’s get a little personal, besides being a plant momma, I am also a momma of 4 amazing humans and married to a handsome and supportive man! Without him and Jesus none of my crazy business ideas would be possible (forever grateful). OKAY Back to plants, so my compassion towards indoor plants grew about 16yrs ago when I worked in the corporate world. One day I saw the office gardener come and water all the plants but on this particular day, I saw that he was going to dump a 10ft tall fiddle, I was like OH NO. I asked him, excuse me if you’re going to dump it can I try and revive it? he said sure but good luck, automatically I went on challenge mode lol. He helped me carry my new tall friend to my SUV and BOOM that was my first plant! hint because the plant on my logo is a fiddle (Fiddles hold a special place in my heart). You are probably thinking “wow 16Yrs of experience” well NO lol, the business didn’t start there, it actually didn’t start until many years later, the story is actually very different from the fiddle story and it’s way too long to type so stay tuned and I will share the full story soon!
